Reasons for DFG’s involvement in ICON P-Rep

Recently our friends at @TheIconistNews wanted to know our reasons for being involved in ICON P-Rep competition in order to participate in block production, verification and making governance decisions.

Here are our answers.

1. Tell us about your team.

Digital Finance Group founded in 2015, is a far-reaching company with investments, asset management and incubation as its main businesses. Currently DFG has approximately 300 employees around the globe, with offices in Shanghai, San Francisco, Abu Dhabi, Singapore and Seoul.

2. Why would you like to become a P-rep?

We hope to become an ecological partner and build a global blockchain ecosystem with ICON. Meanwhile, the cooperation with ICON will be beneficial to the development direction of AToken assisting DFG & ICON on its mission to achieve integrated growth.

3. Why should the voters vote for YOU?

DFG’s AToken project has more than 1.5 million users worldwide. DFG can help ICON expand its Chinese market exposure and reach strong community consensus by listing ICX on the AToken wallet and endorsing within the community.

4. What do you like about ICON? What sets it apart from other blockchain platforms?

We envision ICON’s decentralized network as a forerunner in the blockchain decentralized ecosystem, because of its innovative approach to connect a market which has began the modernization of the already ground breaking blockchain industry, through a secure and automated consumer-to-consumer, business-to-business and consumer-to-business AI assisted network.
